FAQ

Questions we hear often

How long does a solar pumping system last?

Modules typically carry performance warranties of up to 25 years, and drives and pumps run for many years with routine maintenance. Our technical offer lists the warranty for every component.

Can the pump run at night?

Direct solar pumping runs in daylight, so we design a tank or reservoir to store water — or add batteries or a hybrid link to the grid or a generator when night operation is needed.

When will the system pay for itself?

It depends on operating hours, diesel price and pump size; diesel-replacement projects typically pay back in [2] to [5] years. Try the savings calculator for an estimate.

Do you handle grid-connection approvals?

Yes. For grid-tied systems we prepare the drawings and documents required under the small-scale solar PV connection rules and follow up with the authorities until commissioning.

What maintenance does a system need?

Panel cleaning to remove dust, periodic inspection of connections and equipment, and remote performance monitoring. We offer O&M contracts with scheduled visits and fast response.

Do you warranty the installation?

Yes — we provide a [X]-year workmanship warranty on installation in addition to the manufacturers' equipment warranties. Full details are in the technical offer.
